need help with your printable files?

After we receive payment for your digital purchase, you will receive an e-mail with your linked digital file. You will download one .zip file with 2 or more PDF files bundled inside. To open the .zip file, just double click. You will need Adobe Reader (it’s free!) to open your PDF files. The PDF files will contain detailed printing instructions and the poster file you ordered.

Please save your files to your computer. There is a 5 download limit on each file.

Printing is easy! You have 3 options:

1. Use your home printer (though 8″x 10″ size is not recommended for detailed poster prints)

2. Email or take the file to your local print shop (this is our preference!)

3. Upload the file to an online print service

When you purchase a printable file, you will receive high-quality PDF files that can be printed up to 18″ x24″, plus instructions to help you choose the best print method.

You are free to print the design as many times as you like for your home, classroom, or as gifts. If you are a school administrator and would like to discuss printing designs for a whole school, please contact me for more details.

The designs sold at Pretty Nerdy Press are for your personal use only. Designs may not be resold or used for commercial purposes. The copyright of all designs at Pretty Nerdy Press remains with the designer and does not transfer with the purchase. If you have questions about these terms, please contact me.

After checkout, you should receive an email containing a download link to your file. If you do not receive your email within 24 hours and have checked your spam folder and other email accounts, please contact me. (sara@prettynerdypress.com)

When you click the file link in your email, the file will be automatically downloaded and stored in your computer’s “download” file. Please move the file and save it to your hard drive so that you can access it later.

You may also log in to your account at Pretty Nerdy Press to access your order history, downloads, and other account information.

I have found that my local, family-owned print shop offers the most competitive pricing and best service. If you don’t have a good local shop, chain stores like Staples, FedEx/Kinko’s, and Office Depot can print large posters for you. You can also use online services like Overnight Prints.

Keep in mind that color printing may vary, due to different print processes and different paper. For the best results, print on 80-100# cover paper or 14-16 pt. cardstock.

Shipping FAQ's

questions about shipping & physical goods?

Our posters are custom printed when you order. Please allow 3-5 business days for processing and packaging prior to shipment.

At peak seasons, printing and packaging may take up to 10 days. Please contact us if you do not receive your order within 3 weeks.

We occasionally take vacations, so please check the home page for notices regarding delays in shipping. We will give advance notice if we decide to schedule a break. Thanks for your patience!

Yes! We can fit several posters into one shipping tube, so you get a better deal when you order more prints!

We plan to offer paper versions of most poster designs. We are gradually adding new prints as we are able. Subscribe to our newsletter to receive updates when new posters are available!

If you would like to request a custom order, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your needs.

Most orders print and ship within 3-5 days, but during peak seasons printing and packaging may take up to 10 days.

If it has been 3 weeks and you haven’t received your order, please contact us! We will do our best to help you track it down or send a replacement if necessary.
